We were very impressed with Alan when he first came to install one of our hot tubs. So much so that we had a further two hot tubs installed by him, which he maintained for us over a period of three years. Running a luxury chalet company means we can have some demanding guests and we needed a hot tub technician who was reliable, friendly and knowledgeable - qualities which Alan has in spades.

Alan has made an enormous difference to our business, and it is largely thanks to him that we now have an excellent reputation for after-sales service. Our business brings us into contact with a lot of spa technicians, but we have never met another one who is as effective as Alan.

My hot tub had ground to a halt after making a grinding noise. I had been told that it was probably the bearings but that I would need to replace the entire motor at quite an expense.......then I discovered South West Spas Ltd. On first visit I was impressed by Alan's expertise and honesty. He took the motor away, stripped it, took photos to show me the damage and at a fraction of the price quoted from a previous company, replaced the bearings. I highly recommend Alan. His knowledge, friendly manner and refreshing honestly was a pleasure. I will definitely use Southwest Spas to service my hot tub every year.

Alan spent all morning on this service. Far longer than the time taken to service my car. I was so impressed that he had taken the effort to note the previous capacitance Uf on the capacitors on his previous visit so that he could compare on this visit. (He had written the detail on the capacitor but also taken photos). It is so easy to assume that hot tubs will run forever without attention but in my experience prevention by service is very worth while. Our hot tub is on a holiday rental and the water changed regularly with a risk of problems if the right procedures are not taken (turning heater on without water around heating element). Alan sorted this out a few months ago. Before this a pump was leaking water. Easy option to fit a new pump at considerable expense but Alan fitted a new seal, So have no hesitation to recommend South West Spas

Alan is always so helpful, nothing’s too much trouble and he genuinely cares for his customers. He’s reliable and his work is superb; we’d certainly recommend him!
